Well, let’s talk about this Fendi Daning Peekaboo ISeeU Small Bag, ya know, the one they say is from the official flagship store. I ain’t no fancy lady, but I know what I like when I see it.
This bag, they call it Peekaboo. Sounds like a game my grandbabies play. Peekaboo, I see you! That’s what they named it, can you believe it? Started way back when, in 2008, or maybe 2009, I don’t rightly remember. Some fella named Karl, or maybe it was a woman named Silvia, they made it. Fendi, that’s the name, like the fancy store in the big city.
They started out making fur stuff, back in 1925, in Rome. Can you imagine? Rome! Way far away from here. Now they make all sorts of things, purses, shoes, even smelly stuff they call fragrances. Rich folks buy it, I reckon.
This Peekaboo bag, it’s small, but not too small, ya know? Just right for carryin’ your stuff. Some lady, she bought two, a small and a petite, ‘cause she couldn’t decide. Said she wanted one for special times, not just everyday use. I guess that makes sense.
They got all kinds of Peekaboo bags. Some are shiny, like patent leather. Some are soft, like suede. Some are even made with little crystals all over, sparkly like the stars at night. They come in different colors too. Champagne, green, all sorts.
- Some are made of that calfskin, the soft skin from a baby cow.
- Some have these fancy woven bits, all done by hand.
- Some are lined inside, some are not.
The one I saw, it was this champagne color, kinda like gold, but not too flashy. It had this fancy woven stuff on it, all the same color. Real pretty, it was. And soft! Like butter, almost.
They say it’s a perfect copy, this Daning Peekaboo. I don’t know about that, never seen the real thing. But this one, it feels nice. They say it’s almost the same as the real one, the feel and all. Soft and smooth.
I went to one of them fancy stores once, just to look, ya know. Saw a bag like this, but it cost more than my whole house, I bet! This Daning one, it’s probably cheaper, I reckon. For folks like us, ya know?
You can find these perfect copy bags in special stores, they say. Dream bags, they call ’em. I guess if you want a fancy bag without spendin’ all your money, that’s the way to go.
This Fendi Peekaboo, it’s got that little twist lock, to keep your stuff safe. And it’s got handles, so you can carry it on your arm. Or you can put a strap on it, and carry it over your shoulder, like them city gals do.
Some folks say it’s an investment, these bags. Like buying gold, or land. I don’t know about that. Seems like a lot of money for something to carry your lipstick and comb in, but what do I know? I’m just an old woman.
I seen one made of green calfskin, too, all woven and nice. No lining inside, just plain leather. Different than that champagne one, but pretty too. They all got that Peekaboo look, ya know, kinda open at the top, so you can see a little bit of what’s inside.
So if you want a fancy bag, this Fendi Peekaboo, or the Daning copy, it might be just the thing. Just don’t go spendin’ your rent money on it, ya hear? There’s more important things in life than a fancy bag, that’s for sure.
But if you got the money, and you want somethin’ nice, well, this Fendi Daning Peekaboo ISeeU Small Bag might just be the ticket. It’s a perfect small but not too small bag, like they say.
